Deb fought drugs and alcohol addiction for 25 years. It landed her in prison and in trouble with Child Protective Services. She worried about losing her kids. While she was in prison, she thought if she lost her children, she would turn against the Lord. She changed her mind after reading the Biblical story of Hannah, who promised God if she had a baby, she would give him back to the Lord. The moment inspired Deb to study the loving, forgiving nature of the Lord.
