“Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” — Proverbs 11:14
An old axiom of the legal profession says, “A man who is his own lawyer has a fool for his client.”
Dr. Randy says, “Failure to seek godly counsel is dangerous. Failure to follow godly counsel may even be more dangerous.” Dr. Randy unpacks that on today’s program.
We all need wise counsel. But do you need a counselor? If you DO need one, it’s important to recognize the right kind of counsel, and use it. No one has all the answers. But God does. Sometimes you need some help to find it. Christian faith is not meant to be lived out alone.
Dr. Randy concludes a new teaching series today, “Counseling Could Save Your Life.” And he welcomes a special guest to the program today, in fact for the whole series, clinical psychologist and family therapist–and good friend–Dr. Todd Linaman.
