In this life, we have to stand firm about a lot of things.In 2 Thessalonians 2, Paul was telling his readers to uncompromisingly hold on to the teachings they had heard from him, Silas and Timothy. He closes with a benediction of sorts, asking God to help the Thessalonians have encouragement, hope and strength for their service to Him. We also want to stand firm in “every good deed” God gives us to do. That certainly includes our efforts to live a healthy lifestyle, eat correctly and even lose weight. And here’s the added good news for you: God will empower you as you make the changes and sacrifices necessary to have optimum health.
