When we were little, keeping secrets was fun. Now, if you’re married, they can destroy a marriage. Social media, text messages and cell phones have transformed our lives for the better and worse. All make it easier for us to communicate… and possibly to keep secrets from our spouse.

It’s important to take steps to put your marriage first. Keeping secrets is seldom the right thing.

What would you think if your spouse read your secret messages? Embarrassed? Ashamed?

When you got married, the two of you became one. There should be no secrets or white lies. When one spouse attempts to hide something, it can tear the fabric of the marriage.

If you’ve got a secret, ask yourself, “Why?” Is keeping the secret best for both of you? How is your marriage enhanced by keeping this secret?

Live intentionally today by telling your spouse the truth. It could save your marriage and begin to build an unbreakable bond within your marriage.

30-day Challenge

If you could do ONE THING and know that it would make a significant, lasting, possibly life-changing difference in your life, would you do it? Dr. Carlson shares the power of ONE THING and why you should get started doing your ONE THING today.
