On October 23rd Mary was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. “It’s been really hard but through this all I’ve been getting really close to Jesus. I really have to lean on Christ,” she said. Romans 8:28 is the scripture that Mary holds onto, And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Mary said, “I’ve had to crawl into Jesus arms and Jesus can pick you up, too.” It doesn’t have to be cancer, it can be anything.”
