Jimmy was a longtime friend to his wife Christina long before they were ever married. In fact, he was the Godfather to both her sons. When she divorced and they became romantically involved, Jimmy and Christine married. “I had a special love for Joseph and Danny, and have been blessed with a wonderful relationship with them,” Jimmy said. As each boy turned 18, they came to Jimmy and said they wanted to legally change their last name to his, Anaya. But the biggest surprise and blessing came when both boys came to Jimmy and said they wanted to be “legally” adopted! “What’s been great is that I’ve been a part of their lives since the very beginning. They’ve always see me as their dad. My story is unique and one I’m very proud of,” said Jimmy.
