God is intimately familiar with difficult people. His “chosen people” are repeatedly identified in the Bible as stubborn. Sometimes God dealt with them quite sternly while other times He poured mercy upon them. Each time God responded to them out of His justice and righteous character, and in the way that would accomplish His purposes.
For the difficult people in your life, especially those you’re likely to be spending time with this holiday season, it’s particularly hard to interact with in the same wisdom and balance of God.
God’s Word has the answer your looking for.
But you have the timeless resource of His Word to help you gain the discernment you need for any situation you may face with the obstinate ones in your family.
Seek the Bible for insight to:
- Exercise self-control emotionally in your thoughts, words and actions.
- Understand the motivations, needs and fears of even your most stubborn family members.
